About

Marco Lackovic works as a research fellow and teaching assistant at the University of Calabria (UNICAL), Cosenza, Italy. He was born and breed in Vibo Valentia, Italy. He got a Master degree in Computer Engineering and a PhD in Computer Engineering at UNICAL. His research interests are Grid Computing, Data Mining Workflow, Fault Tolerance and Smart Objects. He participated in the design and development of Weka4WS and the Knowledge Grid.

Italian is his mother tongue, he learned to speak Croatian from his father, he speaks English fluently. He was a member of the UNICAL volleyball team and is currently a member of the UNICAL skiing and running teams. His passions include solving puzzles, juggling, photography, travelling, trekking.
